These fuse shields are designed to fit over fuse contacts when the fuse is removed in locations such as take off chambers, open boards, LV pillars and path boxes providing protection against accidental contact with the fuse contacts up to 1000V. The cover also provides a safe protection against a phase to phase or phase to earth situation when a temporary or permanent LV open point is in place.
As the unit is moulded as a single piece from Orange FR Polymer ABS Plastic, they have a robust handle for safe fitting and removal. Length is 138mm. The covers can be supplied with individual 1000V dielectric testing.
