Clydesdale have an extensive range of Glass Fibre Slot Together Operating Rods manufactured to EA TS 43-81 which are suitable for Long Stick Tapping, Earthing and Arboriculture applications. Slot Together Rods have been in use in the electricity industry for decades and are starting to enjoy a resurgence of popularity due to their complete flexibility of use and their undoubted strength (both electrical and mechanical). Each section is 1.2m (4 Feet) in length. More commonly known as Bowthorpe Rods, named after the inventing company, the most common sizes are listed below.
