The Clydesdale Arc Flash Protection Hood with Ear Protection is designed to protect the wearer's head and neck from the thermal effects of an electric arc flash, should one occur whilst working under live conditions, such as fault-finding.

The one-size-fits-all arc flash hood has a comfortable, lightweight design based on a baseball cap with a large, tinted anti-fog screen making all-day wear possible.

This variant of the hood is fitted with a tinted screen that has been tested to 14/cal/cm² under ASTM F2178.

Although the hood does not provide mechanical bump protection, it is CE marked to EN 166, the standard for personal eye protection and is rated as Class 2 under GS-ET-29.
