The NEW revolutionary AS12U-CE is a Weight Balancing Arc Flash Protection Face Shield, that stows in a balanced, compact position, centred over the top of the user's hard hat when not needed.

AS12U-CE features a universal mounting system designed to work with a broad range of peaked hard hats. This allows users with their own company policy on hard hat manufacture / design to be able to use AS12 system. We do not provide the visor with a helmet unless the user specificalyl requests one.

The AS1U2-CE has an Arc Rating of 12cal/ cm² (ATPV according to ASTM F2178) and utilises nanotechnology to provide a clearer, more transparent window for improved visibility. The shield/window is designed to be easily replaced without tools. The faceshield unit includes ventilation ribs that allow a natural convection air flow through the top of the face shield. This reduces fogging of the visor, lowers CO² levels and improves comfort for the user.

The assembly is also tested and cetified to GS-ET-29, Class 2.

Work Lights (not included as standard): On both sides of the faceshield is an easily adjustable flashlight clip which holds optional attachable work lights. With these optional work lights, the user is not inconvenienced with holding a flashlight while working.
