This hydraulically powered feeder has been specially developed for the placing of plastic subduct into an existing duct. Several feeder units can be connected electronically or hydraulically in series when the placing distance is long. Control of both force and speed is either mounted on the frame or can be supplied in a hand held unit (Part No. 506 0110) for greater flexibility.
Dimensions for all three units are the same at 550mm long x 220mm wide x 340mm high and a weight of 24kg. The feeder will except duct diameters from 8-35mm.
Safety has also been considered during the design process with many features included, principally the dead man_s handle, control unit with auto stop when the handle is released. The maximum pressure exerted onto the duct by the holding clamps is 230kg.
The feeder can also be supplemented with a capstan wheel that is designed for the pulling of a pilot rope, Part No. 506 0010.
The feeder is avaialable in three versions according to max force. Max speed depends on engine power of Hydraulic Power Pack.
